Bring EVERYTHING with you that you will need.

Wear your helmet while operating your bicycle.

Head lights and tail lights should be turned on and functioning before sunrise and after sunset. Bring extras if needed.

Respect the course and those who live there. Do not litter. Leave no trace.

Obey city, county and state TRAFFIC LAWS. This is for the safety of everyone.

You are permitted to purchase items from businesses along the course. Doing so does not count against your self-designated support crew stops unless they assist you at these locations as well.

If nature calls during your ride, please do not answer it in front of others.

Use only DAMN provided cue sheets and/or GPS files for navigation.

If you exit the course at any time for any reason, you must re-enter at the same point in which you left. Failure to do so will disqualify you from a results listing.

You are permitted to bring your own support crew. However, DAMN support can ONLY be received from your support crew at up to 3 self-designated checkpoints. Double DAMN support can ONLY be received from your support crew at up to 6 self-designated checkpoints. This is on your honor.

Support crews should not drive along the course and should enter the course from side roads to support racers. Racers should work with support crews in advance to establish off-course routes to self-designated support locations.

DAMN racers will have 24 hours to officially finish The DAMN. Racers who take longer than 24 hours will not be listed in the results. Double DAMN racers will have 48 hours to officially finish The Double DAMN. Double DAMN racers who take longer than 48 hours will not be listed in the results.
